This weekend, you can taste food from Norway’s best vegetarian cooks, learn to cook new dishes and be inspired with lectures. The entrance to this family friendly and inspiring festival is only 100 NOK for one day pass, 150 NOK for weekend pass, cookery courses and lectures are included. Tickets purchased at the door by card or cash.

About the Festival

Oslo Vegetarfestival was started by Heidi Røneid and Synne Hewitt in 2010 being inspired by a similar festivals abroad. They wanted to create a gathering place where vegetarians can meet with like-minded fellows, taste new products, eat good food, join in inspiring cooking courses and lectures and buy some delicious vegetarian home made foods.

– We wanted the people who were curious about vegetarianism or who would eat a little more vegetarian could come to be inspired by what vegetarian world can offer, write Røneid and Hewitt.
