Popsenteret (the Pop Centre) is a new, interactive activity centre in the urban district, GrĂĽnerløkka, Oslo. Experience more than a hundred years of Norwegian popular music history, artists, songs, historical concerts, record/CD players, instruments and original music genres.Â
You can even be a pop star for a day! In the recording studios you’ll find songs by famous artists such as a-ha, which you can re-record and make your own! Then take a picture and design a record cover for your track.
In the children’s playroom, you’ll find books, instruments and other fun things to do.
Popsenteret offers exciting exhibitions and interactive music experiences, and is a must-see place for music lovers of all ages!

Discover the relationship between the media, technology and the development of music. Find out more about unique genres such as Norwegian Black Metal and Norwegian artists who have made it on the international scene!
