In 2011, NRK introduced 134-hour program about a cruise ship traveling to the Arctic. It still holds the record for the duration of the program on TV. Rating services report that at its peak an incredible marathon was contemplated by 3.2 million Norwegians – it is 60% of the country, reports Reuters.
An eight-hour program about the trip from Oslo to Bergen was so popular that it had to be repeated.
