In the video, five accordion players from the isolated country of North Korea perform their rendition to the pop song “Take On Me” by Norwegian group a-ha, which was a hit in 1985. According to WSJ, it’s the product of several years of work and five visits to North Korea by Norwegian artist Morten Traavik, who has gained attention in the past for art exhibitions and performances that cross boundaries in more ways than one.
