Norway’s Hot Dog Craze Is on BBC

The excessive consumption of Norwegian hot dog (Pølse), one of the cheapest snacks you can find in Norway, is featured in BBC’s The Travel Show.

Boiled or grilled sausage is served in a lompe (thin tortilla style potato bread)or in bread.

It is said that 450 million hot dogs are eaten in Norway each year – about 100 per person.

The Travel Show’s Mike Corey visits a traditional stall in Oslo to try out the delicacy.
