SAS this morning signed a new collective agreement with the Norwegian pilot union NSF. Negotiations have finalized after the strike that lasted for one week, and that included 17 pilots. SAS has now agreed with all pilot associations on new collective agreements.
– I will begin by apologizing to all those customers who are affected by the strike. Now we have agreements with all pilots in SAS that enables us to invest in the future of aircraft, new routes and products for our many travelers. Negotiations are proof that we take a common responsibility to ensure Scandinavian jobs and a future for pilots employed by SAS, says Rickard Gustafson, CEO of SAS.
The new collective agreement is effective from the 1st of April 2015, with a year’s duration.
