Norwegian Ayla Wins American Formula Championship

She has been the only woman in the championship and has won three titles of the year. 

On Sunday, she again secured the championship.

Since she was seven years, Ayla Ågren (21) dreamed of running the prestigious IndyCar Series, an American variant of Formula 1, writes VG.

The road up there is still long, but Ayla hopes to take another step next year.

About the championship

The F1600 Championship Series was created by the SCCA in 2011. The series is organized by Formula Race Promotions, the same organisation which organizes the F2000 Championship Series.
