Isabelle Pedersen (18) from Bergen won the gold medal in 100 meters hurdles for women at IAAF World Junior Championships in Moncton, Canada. Completing the race in 13,30 seconds brought her the gold as she also beat the Norwegian junior record which was held by Christina Vukicevic.
The silver medal in 100 meters hurdles went to Jenne Plesch from Germany and the bronze medal to her countrywoman Miriam Hehl.
Another contestant, Katja Vangsnes, from Norway will compete for a medal in hammer throw tomorrow (24th July) at 18:30 (CET). There are totally 13 participants from Norway in the Championships which will end 25th July.
