After a 0-0 draw in the first leg Rosenborg had to win against Linfield in order to qualify to the next stage in UEFA Champions League.
Rosenborg won the game 2-0 with goals by Rade Prica and Markus Henriksen and will meet AIK from sweden in the third qulifying round. First leg will be played 27th July at Råsunda Stadion in Sweden while the second leg match will be played 3rd august at Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim.
