Norway’s Handball women won World Championships bronze match against Spain by 31-26 on Sunday.
Sharp counter-attacks, aggressive defence and a great goalkeeping brough Norway to the victory in the first half. This bronze became the Norwegian women’s handball team’s 16th medal in the 21 most recent championships. In this period, Norway achieved to have a World Championship gold once in 1999.
In the torunamnet, the gold medal went to Russia, which won against France by 25-22 in the final. It was Russia’s third consecutive World Championship gold, and the fourth medal in the last five world championships.
