Second largest heroin haul in Norwegian history

There was someone in the car, but the investigation has lead authorities to believe there are three people so far involved in the case, said Larvik Police superintendent Vidar Vittersø  to Østlands Posten.

The three Norwegians are 34, 41 and 48 years old, and two of the three have now been detained.

The trio will face up to 21 years in prison for being behind the second largest seizure of heroin in Norwegian history, second only to a seizure in Trondheim of 46.9 kilos in 2006.

There were no sniffer dogs on hand when customs authorities picked out a personal car for inspection.

The 41 seperate packages of heroin were hidden in various places in the car’s body, writes Østlands Posten.
