All of the arrested asylum seekers are ethnic Serbs whose applications have been refused and the ones who have lived in Norway for two to three years.
The operation was carried out in the reception centers in the southern Norway, Nordland, Vestfold and Finnmark.
Police foreces from six police districts participated in the operation, together with officials from the PU. Action has been planned for a long time and in cooperation with the Serbian authorities. 71 arrested Serbians will be sent to Serbia in the following days.
