Justice Minister, Knut Storberget wants to strengthen the use of Police to get youth away from a criminal career.
Based on Storberget’s offer, the government will pave the way for large meetings, conversations and follow-up police teams. The teams will be active against serious or repeated crimes which young people commit.
– We need to ensure a functioning close monitoring, large meetings and follow-up teams has had good effect so far” said Justice Minister.
