German Chancellor Angela Merkel pays a short visit to Oslo, where she will meet Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg. The two will discuss the economic situation in Europe and energy cooperation between Norway and Germany.
– Germany is a very important partner for Norway. It’s about economics, it’s about the financial crisis and last but not the least energy, says the Prime Minister to TV 2
Stoltenberg also said they’ll update assessments in relation to what they do with the high unemployment in Europe and how they improve and develop the good co-operation between Norway and Germany.
Two months ago, Merkel had visited Norway for the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony.
