New Record for the Norwegian Conservatives

The pole conducted for Aftenposten and Bergens Tidende in June revealed that Høyre increased its votes by 1.3 percentage points from May and is 5.1 percentage points ahead of its closest competitor Labour Party (Ap).  Conservatives had reached such a high support level in parliamentary elections in 1909.

Had there been a general election, the party would double its votes from the 2009 elections, when the party received 17.2 percent.
