Norway's efforts for conflict resolution – it helps?

Since the early 1990's, Norway has been involved conflict resolutions all around the world. It has turned into one of the most striking aspects of the Norwegian policy of engagement. But these efforts are discussed in debate columns.

The meeting at the Literature House will start with a debate with the talk of Norwegian Prime Minister, Støre on the status and perspectives ahead of the Norwegian policy for preventing and resolving conflict, and the participants will discuss experiences and challenges in conflict areas like the Middle East, Sri Lanka, Philippines, Sudan /Horn of Africa and Afghanistan.
