FrP Demands More for Police

Police will get an additional 1.3 billion in the new budget. But the amount did not satisfy Progressive Party(FrP) which demands more police in Norway.

Morten Ørsal Johansen from FrP said: “- This is good, but it is too small.” Ørsal stressed that more police districts are struggling because they did not have enough money and he expressed his gratitude for the extra money allocated to police for recruiting more police in large cities. But he asked for an overall plan for the entire chain and investment in both increased patrols and investigations.
