Dag Terje Andersen has been elected as Parliament’s(Stortinget) new President in place of Jagland who will take over the presidency post in Council of Europe.
-I’m really looking forward to take over the task” said Andersen, Labor Party’s first candidate in Vestfold county. He believes it is a great responsibility to lead the work in Stortinget. “I’ll use a lot of time to shape the new presidential role, and look forward to this challenge.” continued Andersen.
