YourKITE media and entrepreneurship project has officially started. In the frame of the project, Norsensus Mediaforum hosted a training in October 4-11 in media and communication for the project partners, FUNDACJA ROZWOJU SPOLECZENSTWA, INFORMACYJNEGO- Poland, Fundacja Rozwoju Wolontariatu/Volunteering Development Foundation- Poland, and Fundatia Danis pentru Dezvoltare Manageriala- Romania.
During the one week training visit, the project partners learned about visual storytelling, and using digital media tools as a part of entrepreneurship, and individual and organizational development. Also the partners visited Oslo Akershus University College to meet and have a lecture with associate professor Robert Wallace Vaagen and Barne- og ungdomsorganisasjonene i Oslo (Ungorg) to learn about volunteerism and youth work in Norway.
The consortium aims to develop a toolkit and an online platform for teaching these core skills to young people.
About the project
Financed by EU Erasmus+ funds through Aktivungdom, Your Kite Project aims to develop digital media and communication skills of young people, and promote volunteering and professional orientation in order to ease the youth’s access to the labor market. At the same time, the project promotes entrepreneurship within youth as a way out of unemployment, by developing entrepreneurship knowledge and skills of young people.
