Bach has followed the Norwegian immigration opponents online closely for many years. He says to TV2 that there are messages from right-wing extremists about shooting asylum seekers and burn down reception centers every day.
– They feel deeply betrayed by Progress Party (FRP), while they had hopes that they would close the borders, says Bach to TV2.
Police Security Service (PST) also warns in a press release that the threat assessment against the extreme-right is affected by the flow of asylum seekers.
– The increased flow of asylum seekers to Norway has adverse consequences for the threat linked to the extreme right groups in Norway. This is because opposition to immigration is one of the most important issues and an important mobilization factor, for this environment, writes the PST report.
