According to Dagbladetâs report, Breivik complains of deteriorating prison conditions and threatens hunger strike to death.
In an open letter Breivik complains that prison conditions in Skien have been stricter since September. The terroristâs lawyer, Ăystein Storrvik may reportedly sue Norway for human rights violations due to his clientâs deteriorating prison conditions.
The lawyer confirms to Dagbladet that Breivik will stop eating.
– He writes that he shall hunger strike to death. He writes that he can not bear anymore, says Storrvik.
Breivik claims that he was grossly mistreated for four years, and was exposed to 884 forced naked searches, 2300 grab maneuvers and two and a half years of confinement in solitary confinement cell with under five minutes of human contact on a regular day.
Talking to Nettavisen, prison manager Ole Kristoffer Borhaug notes that prisoners can experience life differently than what the employees do. There are many inmates who feel that they have a strictly limited life, says Borhaug to Nettavisen.
