Norway is One of the Poorest in Finishing High School

Norway is among the poorest of the OECD (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development) in getting young people to finish school, according to Aftenposten’s report.

In Ireland, the situation is completely different. Over 90 per cent complete high school in the given time.

Ireland expert and associate professor at the University of Agder, Jan Erik Mustad thinks that Irish education culture is heavily influenced by American education culture in terms of strong attachment to school.

– Many Irish have a very emotional relationship with their high school, in the same way as Americans. Belonging is much stronger than in Norway, he said to Aftenposten.
