Repentant Young Thief in Norway Sent Money to School

According to Stavanger Aftonbladet’s report, the staff recevied one thousand NOK along with a handwritten letter from a repentant sinner.

“Hello. When I was younger, I was student at Tastaveden. Me and a friend stole money at the canteen when we worked there. I stole around 600-800 NOK. Here’s a thousand NOK. I feel guilty now. Hope you can forgive me !!”, wrote the letter.

The rector of the school Finn Lea was impressed with the former student’s gesture.

– It says something about the youth today. It is an example that there are a lot of great young people in Stavanger, Lea said to Stavanger Aftonbladet.

The money will be given to student council treasury.
