Christian Democratic Party Opposes Extended Alcohol Sale

Last year, KrF top politician Hans Olav Syversen defended liberalization of wine monopoly (Vinmonopolet) and alcohol sale in Norway by extending opening hours. Now the party decides to join the opposition side together with Liberals (Venstre) and Center Party (Sp).

In the interests of children in families with substance abuse problems, three parties say to liberalization of alcohol sale, writes Vårt Land.

With this decision, opposition reaches a majority against the proposal, which will be voted this month.
