Norwegian Police Stopped Anonymous Protest in Oslo

50-60 masked protestors, gathered for the worldwide protest for free speech and against surveillance- “Million Mask March”,  were blocked by the the Oslo police in front of Norwegian Parliament (Stortinget). 

The demonstration was part of the marking of the Anonymous group. This is a loosely organized network of activists operating through the internet. The group is known for a series of attacks against the websites of the various governments, businesses and religious organizations.

It is forbidden to cover the face in public celebrations in Norway. Also, to hold celebrations or demonstrations,  police permission is required.
