Street People Award to Norwegian Princess Märtha Louise

” In an increasingly colder society characterized by alienation and lack of compassion, the battle for the care and individual dignity is more important. Princess Märtha Louise has for years shown a special commitment to children and people with disabilities.

This effort is particularly important, because it is about people who often do not have the chance to perform without the help of others.”, said the award committee in their statement.

The award was presented by editor = Anlov Peter Mathiesen and the magazine seller Richard Johannessen during an event at Varmestua in Fredrikstad. Varmestua, which is a center for addicts run by Blå Kors, also received a price.
