Microsoft founder and multibillionaire Bill Gates appeared with his family in Hunderfossen at Lillehammer Olympic Park, where they experienced a bob run on bobsleigh track.Â
– They thought it was a wonderful experience. Similar with what we often hear from those who are trying track for the first time, – said Erik Ulateig, general manager of the Park.Â
According to TV2 the bob achieved a speed of around 100 km/h, and a load equivalent to 3 to 4G, that is three to four times your body weight.
On Thursday Bill Gates’ private jet landed at Kjevik Airport in Kristiansand. The aircraft is registered by Challenger Administration LLC, which Gates owns. Gates has not made any public statements about the visit in Norway, but it’s more likely that he visits the South Coast to meet Crown Prince and Princess vacationing on Dvergsøya just outside Kristiansand.
Gates has met Haakon and Mette-Marit several times, the latest was at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland last year. Together with his wife Melinda, Bill Gates also has audience at the Royal palace in Oslo in 2009. Also in January this year Bill Gates was in Norway to meet Jens Stoltenberg and discuss the main challenges in the work of international health and development.
