This weekend Skagum, the official residence of the Crown Prince Couple, witnesses a music festival for the first time. The occasion is Crown Prince Haakon’s 40th birthday.
 – The Crown Princess and their children really want to surprise The Crown Prince. They want to give him something he really appreciates. Therefore the family invites to a music festival in the park at Skaugum, communications chief at the Royal Palace Marianne Hagen says to NRK.Â
The Crown Prince Couple met for the first time during a concert at Quart-festivalen in 1996 and the Prince’s interest in music i widely known.Â
This festival will last the whole weekend where various artists will take the scene and entertain more than 200 guests attending the festival to celebrate the Prince. The guests and the Crown Prince Family will be sleeping over in tents set up at the festival area.
