According to Stavanger Aftenbladet, the children from 3 to 6 years were gathered in groups to learn about blood. The staff had therefore brought a tube of her own blood to show the kids. Some of the kids asked if it was possible to taste the blood, and she answered yes.
– We did not suspect anything until one of the kids told about the issue. We are shocked and very sad, said the director of kindergarten, Inger Lise Andersen.
Afterward, the employee confirmed that at least one child has tasted blood and said she could not remember the exact number of children who tasted her blood.
– The parents are obviously desperate and frightened, but they are glad that the responsible employee will no longer work here, said Andersen.
