In the press conference on Wednesday at 12:30, Deputy Chief of the Oslo police, Roger Andresen confirms they have arrested the man in 20 years who threatened to attack the Parliament.
The man was already known to police in Northern Buskerud. Police now consider the threat is over and barricades around the Parliament building are removed.
Police confirmed that they found both a bulletproof vest, a gas weapon and a bag full of clothes in the suspect’s apartment.
