Norwegian population has high confidence in the verdict concluding that Breivik is sane for serving his punishment.
According to the latest survey by Response Analysis conducted for Norwegian newspaper Bergens Tidende, as many as 85 percent of the respondents believe the verdict against Anders Behring Breivik was correct.
85 percent of those surveyed responded that they are highly confident about the judges’ conclusion. Only four percent said they have little faith in the judgment.
Those who have high confidence in the verdict come from all parts of the population voting for different parties. Also, confidence increases with age.
Only 12 percent of respondents believed that the prosecution should have appealed the ruling.
