At 19.00 on Friday evening, a man came into the Trondheim Art Museum during the opening of 22 July-exhibition called “Together” in the city center. He brought a bag which he put down in reception.
According to TV2, he told the staff that there was a bomb and disappeared from the site.
The staff at the museum was very scared and called police. The place had to be evacuated. After a short time, a man who matched the description was arrested.
The man said that it meant to be a joke. Meanwhile, the museum has been closed and the opening of the exhibition is at risk now.
The arrested man is in custody for further questioning.
