Some of the country’s airports have been closed or significantly reduced capacity in the security check after the strike has escalated sharply on Friday.
As 1200 new security guards have been on strike, four airports have been closed for outgoing traffic. This applies to airports in Tromso, Alta, Sandnessjøen and Kristiansund.
Tromso Airport, however, has been opened to outbound traffic at 13 o’clock Monday afternoon with reduced capacity between 12:30 to 20:00.
Also, at the country’s largest airport, Gardermoen, where strike has led to half capacity, it is expected 45 minutes waiting to get through security checks .Â
