The first version of “Norway in Pictures” came in 2005, and has been widely used. The need to modernize the solution, increase data storage capacity and speed of service over the last two years increased. Therefore, the new version- developed by Forests and Landscape, Mapping Authority and the Norwegian Public Roads Administration- is more user-friendly with its improved design and speed.
Norway in pictures contains orthophotos from regular photography and geoghraphic photos. As a part of the renovation program, the entire country was photographed in five years. The whole country is now covered with updated pictures.
