All newspapers’ main story is 22 July Terror attacks, as the trial starts today. Dagsavisen simply but strikingly prints a rose, which was the symbol of reconciliation after the attacks, and the names of the victims with a short title: “Reckoning Time”
Dagbladet’s headline is “This is He (Breivik) is Afraid of in the Court”. In the details of the article, the newspaper suggests Breivik is afraid to cry during the trial. On the top of this article, a health tips appears about how good it is to eat chocolate.
VG carries an Utøya survivor’s statements to the front page. He says he is glad that Breivik will get his punishment.
