Netteland, who used to live in Solund, passed away on Good Friday. In an interview with a Norwegian local newspaper in January, Netteland had told that he ate a lot of fish throughout his life.
– I have also an alcohol-free life and it has kept me fit and strong, Netland said in January.
With Netteland’s death, the oldest man of Norway is now 105 years old Birger Nikolai Synsvoll from Osterøy, outside of Bergen.
