The Government had previously decided to hold a national memorial ceremony in the wake of the attacks 22 July on the Government buildings and on Utøya. The decision was taken in consultation with the political parties in the Norwegian Parliament.
The ceremony takes place in Oslo Spektrum on Sunday 21 August at 3 pm.
Bereaved families, survivors and others directly affected by the attacks have been invited, along with rescuers, health workers and other contributors, as well as representatives from the official Norway.
