– This is just like a Norwegian Championship, cheered Hushovd after winning in the interview with NRK. Two Norwegians followed each other until the end of the dramatic hilly stage, and they managed to step on the medal stage.
With this victory, Hushovd has won his second stage victory this year and ten stage victories in the French stage races.
– We are the only two Norwegian here, also we fight for victory against each other. It's amazing. I'm glad for the victory. It was special to run against Edvald. He drove aggressively and strongly, said Hushovd to TV 2.
