While Norwegian investigators are planning a line with speed up to 330 km/h, Sweden believes that the 250 km/h will suffice, writes Aftenposten.
– When we have a limit of 250 km/h in Sweden, it is not possible to reach Copenhagen in 3 hours. The Norwegian authorities fears that lowering the speed of the train will less passengers to choose trains over planes, “said Tom Stillesby, the project reporter.
Accordingly, the Swedes will have trains at 330 km/h in the line between Oslo and Stockholm but it brakes down to 250 km/h when they cross the border of Norway.
