Piracy represents a growing social problem. NHO draw attention to the various harmful aspects of the piracy with a conference together with the Customs and Excise and the Patent Office on 4 November, 2010.
Businesses lose money and reputation for piracy. But piracy represents a growing social problem that goes much further than this. Sales of counterfeit products are a part of the black economy and finance other criminal activities. Stene piracy reduces tax revenues for the state and increase the demand for community legal jobs. Furthermore, many pirate copies are directly dangerous to life or health.
