Finland orders EUR 340 mln air defence system from Norway

The Finnish government announced that they would buy a 340-million-euro air defence system from Norway’s Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace.

Kongsberg’s Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile System (NASAMS) is to replace a Russian-made air defence system in Finland.The purchase price excludes the missiles themselves. The cabinet finance committee also showed green light to a 175-million-euro radar system.
