Leader of the union Parat, Hans-Erik Skjæggerud said that they are prepared for a long strike. He now says around 750 cabin crew  consider sympathy strike with Norwegian pilots.
Management of Norwegian Air states that they can not go along with the union’s demands. So far the parties have not much contact with each other after the strike has started on Friday night, reports Aftenposten.
But the experts think neither party can afford a prolonged strike. Norwegian Air has been already affected by the strike and has lost market share to SAS in the Norwegian market. During the weekend, there were few cancellations as a result of the strike. The company also had to hire pilots from other countries. On Monday morning, Norwegian shares had dropped in Oslo Stock Exchange.Â
