84 employees were taken to the Gullfaks A platform following a power outage. The first helicopter lifted at 18:00 Sunday night, and everything was conducted in five helicopter trips.
Still 44 employees are remaining on the Visund platform. They will try to determine the cause of the power outage and rectify the error, the company reports.
According to pressure monitor it is too early to say when the flow can be back again on the platform.
Visund platform is a floating drilling, processing and accommodation platform. It is located on the oil and gas field Visund 22 km northeast of Gullfaks field. Production commenced in the spring, 1999.
