Norway Discusses the Future of Housing in Climate Chance

The Norwegian scientists claim that nearly 2.4 million
buildings will lie in areas of high decay risk within 90 years. It is about
four times as many as today. Climate change may provide implications for how
buildings are designed and how they are settled.

– We will consider new and different requirements when we
revise building regulations regarding the requirements for materials used in
constructions of buildings. I want to encourage the building industry to
develop future-oriented solutions that can withstand weather and climate
conditions in the future, says Municipal Minister Liv Signe Navarsete.
