The board of A-press has decided to sell its 50 percent
stake in the TV 2 to Danish Egmont, which used to have 50 percent of the
channel. Egmont will now own 100 percent of TV 2. The Danish media group will
pay A-press 2.1 billion NOK for the purchase. Industry Minister Trond Giske was
also strongly opposed to the sale and was skeptical that TV 2 shall be without
Norwegian owners.
