The crisis in the global economy has affected Norwegian working life. One in four export companies is now considering reducing staff. This is twice as many as in the previous year.
The Norwegian Business Confederation Association (NHO)'s latest economic barometer shows two out of ten companies are seeing a dark forecast, and 23 percent of exporting enterprises (excluding oil and gas) are considering cuts in staff.
