Norway Tops in Oil and Gas Discoveries

While the oil industry argues that they have found so little oil and gas that the government should allow exploration in northern Norway, a new study published in Stavanger Aftenblad showed that the conditions in Norway, after all, is far better than in many other countries.

Statistics from research firm Rystad Energy shows that Norway tops the statistics of oil and gas discoveries so far this year.

Norway has in total found oil and gas equal to 1,400 billion, which makes the country carry on the top of the list ahead of other major oil-producing countries like Iraq, Iran, Brazil, USA and Russia.
