The contract for fabrication, supply and installation of materials to erect the building commences immediately. Contract value is undisclosed. The project is located adjacent to the V & M Star L.P.'s operations in Youngstown, Ohio. V&M officially broke ground on the new mill in late July, and plans for the new mill to be operational within approximately 18 months.
V & M Star is a leading producer of seamless tubular products mainly dedicated to oil and gas applications. Its operations are based at three sites: Houston, Texas; Muskogee, Oklahoma and the Youngstown facility.
