Both sales and prices in the housing market decreased slightly in July, according to new statistics from Eiendomsmeglerfotetakened Association ( EFF ) and the Norwegian Real Estate Agents (NEF ).
– This is normal in July. In the last five years , prices had either fallen by one or two percent or remained unchanged”, said Leif J. Laugen , vice chairman of the NEF to NTB.
The decline has been greatest in detached houses , which partially explains that those who live in the house , even more will take vacation in July. Buraas also stated that the number of homes sold declined in the summer months , but less than the industry had feared. NEF chairman Terje Buraas said.
