Oil Lobby Makes Pressure for More Money

After the government has announced that they would rather spend more money for research on renewable energy by. cutting expenditures for oil research, the oil sector has fiercely reacted. ‚ÄúThis was unexpected cut! If they continue this, there will be a danger in petroleum research in Norway. Cuts are sad because Norway needs petroleum for many years. We depend entirely on support from the public, “says Aina Berg, director of petroleum research at IRIS. The Oil Lobby is said to use some politicians for pressure in the parliement. On the other hand, majority of PMs supports the new package for improvement of renewabe energy resources.
